Welcome to the World of Terrosia...

Battles & Brews is set in the world of Terrosia, a realm defined by magic, monsters, and legends of a bygone era. It has been five hundred and sixty-eight years since the fall of the Dragon Kings, who once held dominion over the entire world. We are currently living in the Verdant Age, a time of recovery and political fragmentation.

Magos

Once unified under the rule of a confederacy of chromatic dragons, Magos has since fractured into a complex web of kingdoms, principalities, and territories. Today, these borders are fiercely defended, and maintaining order is a constant struggle. In this volatile environment, the safety of the realm often falls to brave and mighty heroes—and luckily there is no shortage of Adventurers willing to take up that cause… for a price.

A comet, known as The Wanderer, has recently returned to the skies of Terrosia, appearing for the first time since the end of the Dragon Kings’ reign over five centuries ago. Most of the common folk see it as a grim omen of doom and destruction, while the powerful see it as an opportunity.

In the Magosian Kingdom of Ostwyn, the Wanderer appears to be ushering in a time of darkness and turmoil. In the south, near the Du’Loc Sommets mountains a strange blight has beset the land, spoiling crops and sickening livestock. Strange sightings and reports of the dead leaving their graves have been increasing in recent weeks, and Baron Emille Florent of the town of Avarent is looking for anyone that can shed light on these occurrences and return the province to normal. With gold to spend, he’s put out a call to adventurers and mercenaries alike and has deputized the local Iron Talons guild to execute a wide scale investigation into these strange events.

Terrosia is divided into five distinct continents: Magos, Ethos, Uros, Boros, and Kandos. While the world is vast, our stories focus exclusively on the events currently unfolding on the continent of Magos.
